i have set up, looks like it is going to work...i sign in successfully, and can even change my on line status, but i can't type anything !! the input box is there...just seems to be disabled i am using joomla 1.5.3

i am using on an intranet and the link is set to registered...

any ideas ?

Hi, sorry for the delay.

To start a chat with the Joomla Web Messenger it works like this:

1.- Click on any contact you like from your Contact List.
2.- You'll see that the "clicked" conctacts appear now on the Active Conversations text area.
3.- Now click on the contact you want to chat with and the Input Box will be enabled for that contact. If you click on another name on the Active Conversations, the message you write on the same input box will go to him/her.
