How to install 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
hi guys, I'm a bit of a novice in this and I'm failing to install this component. I download the fixed beta, extracted it into a folder and tried uploading each one of the files using the Installers>>compenents options in my joomla 1.0 version. Is there another way I can install it, maybe by uploading this files into a directory via FTP onto my site and firing it off from there. Could someone please help

Hi!

It's much easier than that. Just install like any other Joomla component.
First of all, this component is made for Joomla 1.5.
Then , download the file and select the zipped file from the install menu. You don't have to extract any file.
And it's done!

I am sorry but this component is for Joomla 1.5 only.

hello
sorry for raising again the same issue but not all are so familiar with such things
i need some more info on how to install this feature.
i downloaded the web menssenger and unzipped the folder but when i click on the content , i receive the message windows cannot open this file.
please advice
