Possibility to update articles on remote site? 9 Months ago
Hi!
I just installed a trial version and haven't figure out how it works.
Is it possible to update an existing article on a remote site? When I try that, it always creates a new article on the remote site. But I don't want two almost identical articles, just the old one updated.

Best regards
/Tomas

When I first thought of programming the Multi Publishing Content, I tried to make a very powerfull but simple component, so I could offer it at very low cost. I thought to make possible the updating but it needed lot of hours of extra work and I finally decided to exclude that functionality. So, at this moment, you cannot update remote articles from your main sites with Multi Publishing Content.

I am working on a new version of the component in which you can manage content from many sites, not only publishing it, but it will need some more time.

Regards,
Raśl.

Ok, I understand.
I have to say that I think the product is very good and I'm looking forward to the new version.

Jooglar,

I wanted to check and see if you were still willing to add this functionality. As it stands now, this functionality is not integrated. Do we need to get some users together and commision you?

Oh, Na

I posted the thing long a go i tried to implement the MPC and actually did it but wasn't help full so work around my requirement but that will be good and powerful feature cause when u are controlling a content from one site sometime or in my case its required to change few things after words or maybe update it later on ...

i recon it would be a good feature
